My Brother, Ron, is an amateur nature photographer. He is always out taking bird and animal photos with his telescope and digital camera. This is called "digiscoping". Anyway, along his many journeys through our state of Connecticut, he also takes photos of unique and weird things like weathervanes, statues, windmills, and anything that is stunning and different. They come in all shapes and sizes and as you can tell by Ron's photos that they are pretty old. People really used to depend on weathervanes to give them the wind directions for farming or navigational reasons.

Ron has given Wing Watchers.net permission to exhibit some of these old but rather beautiful objects that many people never pay a mind to. Well, he does and we thank him for sharing them.
